There are several ways to install «Telegram Desktop» on ALT Mobile:
Installation using the Application Center
In three clicks 😊
Follow the link install «Telegram Desktop» and confirm the "open application" operation in the browser, the Application Center will open, select the appropriate source in it, and click the "download" button
Installation via the terminal
The execution of terminal commands is carried out through a virtual terminal «Console» or through a remote SSH connection:
su -
apt-get install telegram-desktop
If you have the Flatpak package, you can install «Telegram Desktop» with one command. Terminal commands are entered via the virtual terminal «Console» or via a remote SSH connection:
flatpak install flathub org.telegram.desktop
Through the Application Center 🤔
Follow the link for install «Telegram Desktop», then confirm the "open application" operation in the browser. After that, the Application Center opens, select the source "Flathub" in it and click the "download" button
To fully display the client in vertical orientation, you need to change the scale of the application. Go to the menu (☰) and change the default zoom to 190%.
The messenger informs the user about an active chat by sending a notification. You can disable the option by going to Settings -> "Notifications and Sounds" and disable the window backlight option ("Draw attention to the window")
To enable the system window frame, go to Settings -> Advanced Settings and uncheck the "QT window frame" box
